While the details of Anurag’s role are not known yet, it is said that he has already started shooting for his role in Chennai. Interestingly, after Myskin and Gautham Menon, Anurag is the third director to be involved in the film as an actor. The film also features Sanjay in a strong character who is believed to be a negative role. With the addition of Anurag to the movie, the excitement among the fans has only grown. Much of the film was shot in Kashmir and part of the crew returned to finish some correction work.

Anurag had earlier expressed his interest in working with Lokesh. In a conversation with IndiaGlitz, he said, “I want to do a death scene in Lokesh’s movie. He gives a glorious death to his actors. I want to die in one of his movies. I just don’t need a role. I just want to die in a glorious way in his movie.”

Recently, the first song of the movie Naa Ready was released to fans. The lyric video featured some behind the scenes photos with Vijay, Mansoor Ali Khan and Lokesh on the set of the song. It also showed behind-the-scenes parts of Sanjay on sets, teasing fans about the possibility of a Bollywood actor being part of the song, a typical Tamil ‘Kuthu’ number.

It is believed that Leo will be a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj cinematic universe featuring Kamal Haasan Vikram and Kathi star Karthi. The film, which also stars Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Myskin and Gautham Vasudev Menon, is slated to hit theaters on October 19.
