The Houston Rockets are a team to watch in the 2023 Basketball Summer League
The Houston Rockets have an exciting young team. They have multiple lottery picks that they play on their roster in the off-season.
Amin Thompson, fourth overall in the 2023 draft, will be the main star for Houston. He will display his playmaking abilities and try to earn a starting spot in the regular season rotation.
His classmate Cam Whitmore is also on the list. Whitmore would be a name to watch. Many thought he had the talent to be drafted into the top five, but he fell on the boards to Houston at the age of twenty. And he’ll be looking to prove people in Vegas wrong.
Jabari Smith was the third overall pick in 2022. He will be a name to watch on this team in Vegas. He’ll be looking to build on his rookie season. He played in 79 games and averaged 12.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Fellow 2022 draftee Tari Eason is also on the Vegas roster.
