On July 5, 2023, prominent Sidemen member Ethan Payne, also known as “Behzinga”, took to Twitter to issue an apology. For context, the creator’s comments during Sidemen’s recent podcast went viral on social media. During the discussion, Streamers opened up about his relationship with the group members, claiming that they were more like “colleagues” than “friends”.

Bahzenga responded to those who were “pressed” by his remarks, saying he would enjoy seeing his friends outside of the workplace. He added that as the business grows, the lines between relationships become “much blurrier”.

Bahzinga said:

“I apologize to everyone for stressing out about the ‘colleagues’ comment. I would simply enjoy seeing my friends out of the workplace more often. Business grows, lines get blurrier, and sometimes, simple days are missed just for laughing with the boys. Isn’t it that deep, I’m just offended express my feelings.”

What did Bahzinga say during a recent podcast by Syedman Airlines?

On a recent Sidemen podcast, Tobit “TBJZL,” “Joshua” Zerkaa, “Harry “W2S,” and Behzinga discussed their friendship. According to Behzinga, the group members were more like classmates than friends:

“You’re all my mates! I said it to Charlie the other day. They’re no longer my friends. They’re my mates! That’s what I see. You’re my mates, though! No, no! As me, I see you guys now. It’s so much more than us being co-workers than Be a friend.”

TBJZL expressed grief over Behzinga’s feelings. However, the 28-year-old replied:

“Is that not true, no? Do you agree with this statement? (TBJZL disagrees) You’re kidding?! Every time I talk to you, it’s about work! Four hours? Four hours compared to f**king…”

W2S refuted Behzinga’s claims, arguing that they are colleagues and friends. The Londoner said in response:

“Even in this capacity, we are far more colleagues than friends.”

Here’s what the Reddit community had to say about Behzinga’s perspective on his association with the Sidemen:
