The theory will put his title on the line against Sheamus as SmackDown heads to Madison Square Garden on Friday. It looks like the champ will accompany SmackDown’s new addition, Pretty Deadly, to the ring.
AJ Styles will also be branding blue this week. The Phenomenal One would face Karrion Kross in a rematch from their mixed tag team meeting on the June 16, 2023, episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Theory hasn’t lost his title since November 22, having retained it against superstars like Edge and John Cena, whom he had a match against at WrestleMania 39. Despite his impressive catalog of opponents, some fans refer to his nickname as Boring.
The SmackDown star hasn’t been involved in a meaningful feud since his WrestleMania show with John Cena. However, he could turn the tide by taking on veteran AJ Styles at SummerSlam 2023.
