President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, located in Mumbai’s Dadar Traffic Division today, according to a notice issued by the Mumbai Police.
Ahead of President Durabadi Mormo’s arrival in the city, the Mumbai Police on Thursday issued a traffic warning and shared a list of alternative routes around Dadar district. This is President Mormo’s first visit to Mumbai after taking office in July. President Mormo arrived in Nagpur yesterday on a visit to Maharashtra.
President Murmo is scheduled to visit the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, which falls under the jurisdiction of Mumbai’s Dadar Traffic Division today, according to a notice issued by the Mumbai Police.
“During the visit of high-ranking dignitaries, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented at the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple and adjoining roads in the premises,” Mumbai Police said.
The notice added that the regulation and control of traffic will be in effect from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday.
Mumbai Traffic Police also took to Twitter and said, “In view of Sankashti Chaturthi and the program scheduled at Siddhi Vinayak Temple tomorrow, traffic near the temple will be regulated and controlled as per the requirements of the situation.”
