The NBA offseason has arrived and Coach LeBron James is back to help his kids’ team go through the summer. James will coach his son, Bryce, and the entire team throughout the Nike Peach Jam, which has a large number of young and talented basketball players across the country.
Fans couldn’t believe their eyes as they saw the Los Angeles Lakers star take on coaching responsibilities for his son’s team. James entered the building and was quickly welcomed by the fans. Most fans on social media saw this as a privilege for high school kids to learn from one of the all-time great players.

Here are some of the best reactions from the fans after seeing James as a children’s coach.
James was not alone, he was helped by his former teammate, Rajon Rondo. The two are briefly reunited, but this time as coaches.
Bryce debuted at Peach Jam over the weekend and drew a lot of attention from league scouts. According to reports, teams like the Lakers, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns and Atlanta Hawks have made it a priority to watch the younger James play his game on the court.

LeBron James’ teammates didn’t think he could last in the NBA during his rookie year
When LeBron James was drafted by Cleveland in 2003, he quickly took the league by storm. However, before he could play a real game, there were doubts about his ability to play in the major leagues. It’s understandable to have these doubts since James went straight to the NBA after high school.
However, even his teammates at the time were not impressed with his skills on the field. Most of them didn’t think that he could be one of the best NBA players ever.
“We have better players in his position already on our team,” former NBA star Carlos Boozer said.
“He’s going to come in and make an immediate impact, like Caron Butler,” said Smush Barker.
“I don’t think you can really bring a high school player here and I think your team will really turn around like that,” said Dariso Miles. “If he comes, he can just hop on our chariot.”
Funny enough, the things they said about the NBA star proved to be wrong as he quickly became the face of the franchise. James even won the Cleveland City title, something his former teammates could not achieve.
