Haas team boss Guenther Steiner took a hilarious take on Toto Wolff and how the Mercedes team boss overreacts whenever he’s on camera.
Of course, Wolff has been seen reacting aggressively on camera, especially during the 2021 F1 season and the Drive To Survive series. Although Steiner himself has had his fair share of heated moments on camera, he has joked about Wolff, too.
Speaking in the Sky Sports F1 meme challenge video, the Haas boss humorously explained how Toto Wolff is just overreacting, especially when the cameras are on him.
He stated that someone told him about the actions of the Mercedes team boss at Drive To Survive. However, Steiner immediately turned it on and admitted that he himself made several comments on the series as well.
Finally, Steiner stated how he did not want Wolff to get upset because he had already picked on the Mercedes team boss twice in the video.
“Usually, when he’s on camera! I don’t know. I mean, I was just told what you see at Drive To Survive from last year, you know, I was there, and I made my comments. Otherwise, Toto gets upset with who I am, you know. I picked him.” Twice now, you know, that’s enough now. Toto, that’s enough now,” said Guinter Steiner.
Since this was a challenge meme video, the Haas team boss was of course joking about Toto Wolff getting angry at his Bose headset during the 2021 F1 season.
Haas strategist praises Mick Schumacher’s commitment and attitude
Although Haas had to sack Mick Schumacher after the 2022 F1 season, the team’s chief strategy officer, Mike Caulfield, recently praised the young German driver for his personality and hoped he would get an F1 seat soon.
Caulfield wrote on Twitter:
“One of the best demeanor and commitment drivers I’ve ever worked with. I’ve seen a lot of people say he’s only there because of his name, but in fact, because of his name, the demands are so much more than that. I hope he gets a shot at a decent car sometime.” .
he added:
“Do you realize that this season’s car that Hulk drives is a completely different car than what Mick drove last season? They’ve never driven the same car, so how do you make that comparison, I’m not sure. Also, the Hulk’s racing speed was pretty awful. My feeling is that the Hulk He’ll outpace (Mick), but Mick will be better at racing.”
Mick Schumacher was replaced by Nico Hulkenberg, who was of course a more experienced driver.
However, Mike Caulfield claims that the 2023 Haas Formula 1 car is very different from the 2022. Thus, it is not possible to compare the driving skills of the two.
