With Ajit and Sharad Pawar amassing their forces, the six who have yet to seem to get a call can decide how the rest of the NCP story goes.
To escape anti-defection, Ajit needs 36 of the 53 NCP MLAs with him. He appears to be five short now.
A look at the six who did not appear at any of the meetings called by Ajit and Sharad Pawar respectively on Wednesday, and where they stand:
Saroj Ahir
Age: 41
Constituency: Deolali (SC)
Standing: Ahire said she could attend either event because it was in her constituency. She said she respects both Pawar and Ajit, and will decide her position “after speaking with people in my constituency”.
Chandrakant alias Raju Nawghare
Age: 41
Electoral district: Fasmat
Standing: Nogar said he was campaigning for the local sugar mill’s co-op election, and was therefore not present at either meeting. He said he would announce his decision after July 9.
Atul Pinak
Age: 42
Electoral district: Junnar
Standing Up: Benaki is seen with Ajit when the latter first appears from the BJP side and announces his rebellion. But Bennick later retracted and said he was on the side of “the Pawar family”. Benaki said he would consult with people in my constituency before making the final call.
Daruda state
Age: 55
Constituency: Shahpur (ST)
Standing: Although he did not attend the meeting called by Sharad Pawar, Daruda said he supports the Supreme Leader and cannot be part of a government where Eknath Shinde is the chief minister.

Electoral district: Cobargon
Standing: Kale is currently out of India and cannot be accessed.
Nawab Malik
