Stephen A. did. Smith met the unexpected and asked his Twitter followers a personal question that doesn’t usually involve the opinions of outsiders. Fans had some hilarious reactions to his question about his future and marriage.
Smith is known to take his profession very seriously, hardly taking any days off. He is one of ESPN’s most popular personalities and has been for quite some time not even considering marriage. Well, that is until recently when he jokingly asked fans if he should consider getting married.
“Shall I marry? Have I uttered these words?” Smith asked.

After he posted the question on Twitter, fans began mocking the famous sports analyst. Here are some of the best reactions.
According to an interview in 2019, Smith was once engaged, but never married. The ESPN analyst has two daughters, but their mother’s name has not been revealed.
“It didn’t work out. In fact, I just told my sister that the other day: none of your business,” Smith said in an interview with GQ.

Jay Williams calls Stephen A. Smith for not returning his calls after he said he would play a game of basketball with him
A year ago, Stephen A. Smith makes bold claims saying he can score a bucket against Guy Williams and JJ Reddick. Both fellow Duke producers played in the NBA as a lottery pick, with Williams finishing No. 2 in 2002 and Reddick No. 11 in 2006. However, Smith gave a reason why he couldn’t play a two-two last year with the two.
According to Smith, he had to have shoulder surgery last year because it was bothering him. Now a year later, Williams has decided to call him out for dodging him and Reddick at a basketball game.
“That’s why there’s a logical trust,” Williams said. “And that’s why I don’t believe him. I don’t believe this guy… I called this guy up for a two-on-two match. He was cheating on me.”
Smith gave another excuse as to why he wasn’t ready to play yet. His response made Williams and Monica McNaught laugh.
“First of all, I haven’t had shoulder surgery,” said Smith. “That’s right. My shoulder is better now. But my left knee, man. Listen, daddy time is undefeated, y’all! I’m just real. My left knee kind of hurt me.”
“My right knee feels good, but the left knee. It’s the patella in the left knee that hurts… I’m just being honest. Left knee, it’s real.”
Perhaps next year Smith will come up with a different excuse if the match between two people doesn’t happen soon.
