Christopher Nolan’s latest project has its genesis in his rousing interaction with actor Robert Pattinson during post-production of their previous collaboration, Tenet.

In a candid conversation with Tara Hitchcock, Nolan revealed the compelling events that led him towards creating the film.

As it turns out, Robert Pattinson had gifted Nolan a set of J. Robert Oppenheimer speeches after the conclusion of Teneta work that would inadvertently sow the seeds for Nolan’s next project.

“Yeah, Rob, from the back of Tenet, where we’re referring to Oppenheimer, and I wrote this thing about this amazing moment Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project world had where they couldn’t completely eliminate the possibility that when they launched that first instrument, that first atomic device, They may start the chain reaction that will destroy the world.”

Nolan explained:
