Amidst the escalating tension between Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor in the final season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, fans are left pondering whether the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) will actually disqualify McGregor from competing in his anticipated fight later this year.

The concept of the show centers on anticipating a future match between Chandler and McGregor, which culminates in a meeting at the end of the season.

The highly anticipated bout is currently shrouded in uncertainty as the UFC is reluctant to move forward with plans. ‘The Notorious’ finds himself in a precarious situation, having failed to comply with USADA’s mandatory requirements to enter the testing pool six months before his scheduled fight. The entry deadline, which was June 16, has passed, and recent reports indicate that McGregor has not met that commitment. As a result, he lacks the necessary clearance to compete in the UFC without completing the required probationary period.

Amidst the prolonged uncertainty surrounding a potential match, Michael Chandler recently shared a cryptic message. ‘Iron’ posted a montage training video to his Twitter account, accompanied by a caption mentioning the match’s fading odds:

“This world owes you nothing and is not meant to pamper you. No alms make fulfillment. Throw yourself into the fight for it into the fight you’ll find growth. Walk on. See you on top!”

What did Dana White say about the possibility of a Michael Chandler vs. Conor McGregor confrontation in the near future?

The MMA community was initially elated when news broke about a possible confrontation between Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor. Unfortunately, as time went on, the chances of this alignment occurring began to diminish.

However, UFC President Dana White has completely dismissed the possibility of Chandler fighting McGregor at the final UFC PPV event of 2023. When asked if the planned showdown at UFC 296 would happen, White replied:

“100%”

In a recent conversation with Aaron Bronster, the head of the promotion also addressed McGregor’s involvement in USAID’s testing pool:

“I’m not talking about sh*t until sh*t happens. You know what I mean…to sit here and hypothetically think how a million different things are going to happen…no idea, I’m focused on what happens this Saturday and then next Saturday and you know What I mean. UFC 300 isn’t on your mind yet, Conor Thing who the hell knows how that’s going to happen, who cares what USADA says, we’ll see what happens when it happens.”
