In a strange incident, skyrocketing tomato prices became the cause of a fight between a couple in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. An argument ensued between the pair after the husband used extra tomatoes while cooking a meal at his tiffin service, without consulting his wife.
According to a India today The reporter, Sanif Burman, who runs the tiffin service, said his wife got upset because he didn’t ask her before using two extra tomatoes while cooking and left the house with their daughter.
A senior police officer said that upon not locating his wife and daughter, Sanjeev sought the help of the local police station and filed a complaint.
Sanjeev said he had not spoken to his wife in three days and had no knowledge of her whereabouts at all. The police officials assure Sanjeev that they will find his wife and daughter soon.
