Olivia Wilde wore a white Chloé cocktail dress at the Met Gala 2023. Her outfit consisted of a guitar-shaped design, from the collar of her neck to her waist. The same golden pattern was cut into the cuffs of both hands.
The long dress featured large side slits with capped shoulders. She finished off her look with dangling earrings, and her hair flowed down her shoulders. Speaking about her collection at the red carpet event, Olivia said:
“This is Chloe, designed by Gabriela Hearst and also by Karl Lagerfeld because Karl was a designer at Chloe for 25 years. And this is one of the pieces he designed in 1983 and reimagined for me. The original is in the show, it’s called the Violin Dress.”
On the other hand, Margaret Zhang wore the black dress with the same guitar/violin design, but the color of the logo was a darker shade of gold.
