After a strong start on Wednesday, the Tom Cruise-person Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 He entered the weekend on a positive note. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected around ₹9.28 crore on Friday in India.
While the film has grossed over $63 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo, its net earnings in India are currently ₹30.58 crore making it the biggest opening of an MI franchise in India after Mission: Impossible – The Fallout. The 2018 film earned ₹80 crore during its run in India.
There is expected to be a hike on the set of the film on Saturday and Sunday and according to Sacnilk. The film’s opening day weekend in India could gross ₹60 crore nett.
Tom Cruise has a strong fan base in India and he recently surprised his Indian fans when he spoke in Hindi during the movie’s promotions.

The seventh installment in the Mission Impossible franchise, Dead Reckoning Part One opened to mixed reviews. Shalini Langar of Indian Express gave the film a 2.5 star review and wrote, “The age now shows on the actor’s face, even if he remains as wonderfully fit as ever, and nimble when his heart is out, as he does.
