Shane was sent a package of Claim to fame Season 2 Episode 4 which aired Monday July 17, 2023. After being eliminated, she spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her experience on the ABC show and how her father, Eddie Murphy, feels about it.
During the conversation, Shane stated that she was very hesitant about doing the show but when she talked to her father about it, he was surprised but supported her decision. She also revealed that Eddie Murphy is enjoying the show in real time and had no idea she would ever be removed.
“He’s probably going to be a little frustrated because he’s an investor,” Shine said.
