Joel Embiid has found himself at the center of the ever-scrolling NBA rumor mill, as he was recently linked to a trade to the New York Knicks.
The MVP became the subject of potential trades after setting Twitter ablaze with cryptic tweets. Left fans last guess.
“I don’t have so many words!!” Embiid tweeted.

Fans have been wondering what exactly Embiid meant from his tweet. He followed it up with a tweet that simply read “138?” Again, the persistently troll Embiid provided no context.
Embiid has been known to mess with fans before. He might do it again. There are no hard theories about what his recent tweets mean.
I don’t have many words!! It just doesn’t make sense
Embiid spoke at the Unbroken Film Festival, hosted by LeBron James and Maverick Carter over the weekend, where he is starting his own production company. During a conversation with Carter, Embiid made some comments that Philadelphia fans didn’t like.
Embiid said, “I just want to win the championship, whatever it takes. I don’t know where that’s going to be, whether it’s Philly or somewhere else. I just want to have a chance at it.”
Embiid’s remarks went viral, and Philly fans were outraged. Some wished a quick exit for Mobid due to his disloyalty. Others have speculated that Embiid may have been hinting at a trade order. Could he be the next disaffected star who wants a new home?
Embiid tweeted an angry fan who said he was trolling everyone with his comments. His most recent tweets may be like this, more trolling.
It would be a terrible move if Embiid left the Sixers. His contract has four more years with $213.2 million remaining in the deal.
Sixers General Manager Daryl Morey has also been known to demand huge returns when trading his stars. An unhappy Ben Simmons held out for quite a while until the Brooklyn Nets finally gave up James Harden in the deal.
Morey would likely order a giant package of first-round picks along with several quality players in a potential deal for Embiid, the game’s MVP.
Current Sixer James Harden wants to move from Philadelphia to the Los Angeles Clippers. However, Morey didn’t budge and didn’t take the bouncer to LA or anywhere else for that matter. He will be patient until he gets an acceptable distance or a star in return.
