according to PTI In the report, a fire brigade official said they had received a distress call about a child falling in Nolah along the railway track in Thane. A search to trace the child is underway.
A senior railway official said that train services between Kalyan and Xsara sections were halted on Wednesday afternoon due to the failure of the changing point at Kalyan station after heavy rains in the area. When the train stopped, people got off and started walking on a rail to reach the nearest railway station.
The woman, accompanied by a man, was walking holding the four-month-old baby when she slipped on the tracks and lost her grip. The child slipped from her hands and fell into the swollen area of ​​the loom.
