“The Lion Killer” Garry Tonon is more than willing to give credit where it is due after submitting in the second round against Russian wrestler Shamil Jasanov.

He completed:
“You hit anything at any moment. Anyone can get knocked out. So, you know, I guess anybody doesn’t care where they are. They’re double digits. Undefeated. That’s a damn tough guy. They’re doing something right. And he’s doing a lot of things.” Right, you know. So I think that was really impressive.”
Gary Tonon is hoping his impressive finish against Shamil Jasanov will be enough to put him back in line for a one-time world featherweight title shot, and champ Tang Kai has settled some business with former king of the division, Than Lu.
