Police said a crime-fighting team has been called to the site and after an inspection, the body will be sent to the morgue.
They said Singh was alone and the house was locked from the inside.
At first glance, it does not look like a murder yet, police said, adding that an action is being taken under 174 CRPC.
Police added that further action will be taken based on the autopsy report.
