At least six people were killed and several others were missing after a tourist boat capsized at Tuval Theiram Utupuram beach near Tanur in Malappuram district on Sunday.
Officials in Malappuram said the incident took place late in the evening. Rescue operations are currently being conducted by a combined force of the Police, Revenue, Fire and Rescue and Health departments.
