It comes as no surprise why Superbon is so excited to win big at ONE Fight Night 11 on Friday, June 9.

The ruthless Thai started the year as a kickboxing singles division featherweight, only to drop his 26-pound belt less than two weeks into the year when he squared off against Dynamite Azerbaijani Belarusian Chings Alazov in a One Night Fight 6 fight on January 13.

Alazov tagged the then King of the Division with rounds of blistered right hands, sending him to the count early in the second round.

He took down the Singha Mawynn Muay Thai gym representative with another right before a final right hand earned him a KO at just 63 seconds into the clip.

Suburban never got over defeat, and he’s used it as fuel for his training camp in preparation for the Typhoon Ozkan fight, a fight that takes place inside the legendary Lumpini Boxing Arena later this week.

While his dance partner on fight night brings a similar appetite for victory, Suburban said his method of defeat and knockout makes him hungrier than the Dutch-Turkish genius.

Speaking to ONE Championship, Superbon said:

“I lost on my land and got KO’ed before I had a chance to show what I practiced.”

With less than a week to go before his fifth participation in the ONE stage, Superbon remains confident in his chances of overtaking Ozcan and earning a shot at winning the gold he once owned.
