A police officer said that Tilottama Das, 48, and her son, Ramchandra Das, 28, were in contact with live wires in their home.

Police said a mother and her son died after being electrocuted in Balasore district of Odisha on Saturday. The accident occurred in the village of Nahoul, in the Al-Khaira police station area.
