The National Eligibility (NEET) Result 2023 was announced late on Tuesday night by the NTA. Mumbai boy Shrinikit Ravi is ranked 7th in the All India Merit list with a score of 99.999068.
“I was expecting a good score, but this rank is definitely an addition to happiness,” said Shrinkith, a resident of Khar. With two years of NEET preparation, one of them was online. “There was no such set routine around studies. Everyone has their own way of studying. The most important thing is to believe in yourself,” said Shrinikith, a student at Khar Education Society. He studied for NEET at Mindsetters Coaching Institute in Mumbai.
One of the institute’s directors, Keyur Cholera, said, “Shrinketh has always been very hardworking and very focused.”
Both his parents are bankers but Shrinith decides to take medicine. “I’ve always loved biology in science. I saw my uncle working as a doctor. He was inspiring,” he says, adding that he hasn’t decided yet to major and will focus on his MBBS.
Sharing interesting questions about Shrineketh’s journey towards medicine, his father Ravi Santhanam said, “We are both engineers turned bankers. His mother Lakshmi Gopalan is an alumnus of IIT Madras. Interestingly, when both of our children were deciding on Their career path, they mentioned how we both do something else after studying engineering and would like to decide on their career path based on their inclinations. We are very proud of their achievements.” His elder sister, Sudiksha Ravi, has completed her Law from WBNUJS Kolkata.
Santhanam continued, “When Shrinith passed Class 9, it was during the Covid-19 pandemic. Everyone praised the medical profession and loved the subjects.”
Shrinith loved to watch football in his spare time. Going for a run or playing video games online was a great stress reliever while preparing for NEET.
