An ethnic Indian student, who was arrested and sentenced to more than six years in prison for raping a “drunk” woman he met at a club last year, has been brought to justice after an intense televised network and an Instagram message with the victim. that led to his identification.

Preet Vikal, an engineering student, came across the woman while out on a night out with friends in Cardiff city centre. “The victim was very drunk and by the end of the night it was clear he was hopelessly intoxicated. I walked out of the club and confronted Preet Vikal. The two got into conversation and walked away from their group.”
