Three-time Super Bowl winner Willie McGinest has some legal troubles piling up. On Wednesday, reports claimed that the former NFL linebacker is being sued again over an alleged gym altercation that occurred two years ago.
According to reports, McGinest had an altercation with a man named Andrew Cortez at 24 Hour Fitness in Long Beach, California. The accident happened in 2021.
It is believed that Cortez was working out while using a bench press machine when another man approached him and took his plates. While Cortez was explaining to the man that he had not finished his set, McGinest ran up to him and said:

Reports claim that the former New England Patriots edge rushed and then hit Cortez. The alleged victim also alleged that McGinest had three other men with him who beat him on the head and back about 30 to 40 times, leaving him bloody and slashed.
This is the second time McGinest has been sued this year for alleged assault.

Cortez, who sued McGinest, said he had been suffering psychological damage since the attack while also tending to his physical wounds.
Just a few months ago, McGinest was forced out of his analyst role on NFL Network due to his involvement in attacking a restaurant customer in West Hollywood in December 2022.

After a great stint with USC, Willie McGinest was selected by the New England Patriots in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft. The linebacker spent 12 years with the franchise and helped them capture three Super Bowl titles.
He then joined the Cleveland Browns in 2006 and spent a three-year stint with the franchise before drawing the curtains on his NFL career in 2009.
McGinest finished his 15-year stay in the NFL with a whopping 581 tackles, 86 sacks, five interceptions, and 16 forced fumbles in 212 games. He also earned two Pro Bowl honors during his time with the Patriots.
After retiring, McGinest transitioned into an analyst position. However, the former linebacker has had some legal issues to deal with over the past few months.
