Police said famous defender Devraj Patil was killed when his motorbike crashed into a truck in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur on Monday. He was 22 years old.

Chief Minister Bhopesh Baghel expressed his sorrow over the incident and said that Devraj Patil, who made everyone laugh, has left us. The official said the accident occurred near Labandi area which is under the boundaries of Tilipanda Police Station when the handle of the motorcycle hit the truck which was traveling in the same direction and Patel, who was riding in the back seat, was under the rear wheel of the heavy vehicle.
Rakesh Manhar, the motorcyclist, who escaped the accident unharmed, added that an ambulance was called. Patel was then taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. A resident of the state’s Mahasamond district, Patel was staying in a rented house in Raipur.

The Prime Minister said in a telegram of condolence, may God bless his family and loved ones for enduring this loss. Patel worked with popular YouTuber Bhuvan Bam on the comedy web series ‘Dhindora’.
In 2021, Patel shot a video with CM Baghel at the latter’s official residence, where he said: Only two people are famous in Chhattisgarh. Me and “Kaka” (Baghel is popularly called Kaka, meaning uncle).
