Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday that India is getting stronger and can strike terrorist networks on this side of the border as well as across it if the need arises, stressing that the world has understood the meaning of zero tolerance for terrorism across the country. procedures.

Pulwama and Uri were two mishaps… It only took the Chief Minister 10 minutes to decide (on carrying out surgical strikes) which shows his willpower. Singh said our forces have not only neutralized the terrorists on this side but have crossed the border to eliminate them.”

Addressing the National Security Meeting held at Jammu University, the Minister stressed that the world, including the Islamic countries, is united against terrorism. He said that cash-strapped Pakistan would achieve nothing by “imitating Kashmir” and should instead put its house in order.

In his speech, which lasted more than 40 minutes, the minister emphasized that India had taken significant measures against terrorism under the Modi government and referred to the surgical strikes carried out across the Line of Control in 2016 and the airstrike in Balakot in 2019.

“Bharat Ab Bahl Jiza Bharat Nahi Raha. India is on the rampage. It looks like KS Par Bhi Mar Sakta Hai Aur Zarurat Paditoh USS Baar Bhi Ja Sakta Hai and he can cross the border too,” Defense Minister Zarorat Badi said to Bharat.

He said to applause from the audience, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has initiated effective action against terrorism, and for the first time the world has known not only the meaning of zero tolerance for terrorism.

Terrorists attacked an army camp in the border town of Uri in September 2016, killing 19 soldiers. Two weeks later, the Indian Army carried out a surgical strike across the border and destroyed launch pads of the Pakistani-sponsored terrorists.

In February 2019, forty Central Reserve Police Force personnel were killed in a suicide attack on their convoy by terrorists in Pulwama district, South Kashmir.

Twelve days after the terrorist attack, the terrorist camp in Balakot in Pakistan was destroyed by the Indian Air Force.

The defense minister said Jammu and Kashmir had suffered the brunt of terrorism for a long time. “People here know how the poison of terror drains society,” he said.

He targeted the former United Progressive Alliance government and said it had failed to crack down on Pakistan-sponsored terrorism despite the outrageous attempts by Pakistan to bleed the country which left thousands of innocent people dead.

Pointing out that the entire terror network had been operating in Jammu and Kashmir for decades, he said, “Today crackdown has been taken against that network by weakening it to a great extent.” “We have stopped the financing of terrorism, we have stopped the supply of weapons and drugs. Along with the elimination of terrorists, the work of dismantling the network of underground workers who work here is also continuing.

Without naming Pakistan, he said, countries that use terrorism as a state policy should understand very well that this game will not last long.

“Today, most of the major countries in the world are uniting against terrorism,” he said, adding that the recent joint statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden clearly shows how India has changed the mindset of the entire world, including the US, on the issue of terrorism.

“It is clearly stated in this joint statement that there must be coordinated action against the terrorist organizations on the UN list, which include Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizb Al-Mujahideen.

“It has also been said in this joint statement that Pakistan should put an end to every terrorist act that takes place in its soil and not allow its soil to be used for this purpose,” Singh said, adding that Pakistan was also asked to take action against those behind the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. and the Pachankot attack.

He said it was only natural that the rulers of Pakistan would be disturbed by this joint statement.

“There was a rote statement that India is distracting the world from Kashmir. I want to say clearly to the Pakistani government that nothing will be achieved by chanting about Kashmir,” he said.

The defense minister said that Pakistan has no special position in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

“A unanimous resolution was passed in the Parliament of India regarding PoK that it is only part of India. At least one motion with such intention has now not been passed in Parliament.”

He said that in view of the improvement in the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the oppression and injustice of the people in PoK, the day is not far when the people of PoK will claim their wish to be a part of Jammu and Kashmir.

Referring to the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, Singh said that while the common people of Jammu and Kashmir had been kept out of the mainstream for a long time, it had been a “handicap” in taking action against anti-national forces.

Singh said it would not be an exaggeration to say that the Modi-led government has laid a solid foundation for “revolutionary reforms” in the country, which is the biggest achievement of this government.

I remember Modi’s words at the oath ceremony in 2014 when he said ‘saughandh iss mitti ki desh nahi mitne doonga, desh nahi jhookne doonga ((I swear on the land of this country, I will not allow the country to be erased. I will not let the country bow),’ adding that Prime Minister Hafiz on his commitment in letter and spirit.
