Apple’s Vision Pro program took center stage at WWDC 2023. Apple’s futuristic mixed reality headset is ahead of the curve and includes technologies no other VR platform offers. This also gave product design studios an idea to imagine what the iPhone could look like in the future, inspired by the Vision Pro.
The latest iPhone concept inspired by ADR Studio Design’s Vision Pro gives us an early glimpse of how the future iPhone model will be radically different from current offerings, which include a fresh-looking camera island and a secondary screen.
According to ADR Studio Design, the future iPhone will continue to offer a premium glass sandwich design. However, instead of a flat frame, the designer has provided a slightly curved frame, which helps the user to comfortably hold the device. The phone continues to use the physical power buttons, and appears to have a programmable multi-function action button.
The main distinguishing feature of the future iPhone inspired by the Vision Pro is the camera island, and one of the sensors is said to be a periscope telephoto lens featuring a liquid lens design. It is said that the future iPhone may offer 8x optical zoom and could also offer up to 8k video recording capability.
The camera island looks completely different from the current setup and features a dual camera system along with a microphone, LED flash module and, interestingly, a rectangular secondary screen, similar to the one on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.

The imagined iPhone model is expected to feature a display with up to 2,200 nits of brightness, dual-SIM processing, which includes an M2 processor, a USB Type-C port, MagSafe wireless charging support, and more.
The iPhone design by ADR Studio Design looks so futuristic, one might have to wait at least a few years to see some of these features on a real iPhone. With all these technological advancements, an iPhone of this standard could cost a lot more than the current generation iPhone.
