Liam Harrison needs more time to prepare for the fight, but that hasn’t stopped the Leeds striker from dreaming of his return to the ONE Championship stage.
The 37-year-old suffered defeat against then Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Hama when he bested him at ONE on Prime Video 1 in August last year.
His knee took one shot too many from the start, and a final volley from the kneecap knocked him down within 130 seconds of a duel.
It’s been a long road to recovery for the multi-time world champion, who has restructured his daily activities primarily because most of them involved being in the gym to sharpen his tools or train the next batch of West Yorkshire warriors.
But after taking nearly a year on the road to full fitness, Liam Harrison remains optimistic about his chances of returning and challenging for the bantamweight title in the future.
In an interview with LastBSTN, the ‘Hitman’ shared the perfect scenario:
“I think it will only take me two or three wins to get myself back into competition, and I think I have the mentality and the ability to get myself back into that position.”

Jonathan Haggerty, who ended the legendary Thai dominance, is now the target of Liam Harrison.
The London native stunned the world and his opponent with his boxing formations one night fight 9And he got his gold statement by a knockout within 2:40 of the opening round.
As such, a legendary English battle for the world title could be on the cards if Leeds’ ‘Hitman’ returns with a wide margin.
