Former world top division champion Ong La In Sang comes prepared for his next fight no matter what his opponent has in store for him.

“The Burmese Python” will be back in action on May 5th at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video in Colorado, USA. He will face China’s Fan Rong in a middleweight mixed martial arts showdown.

The fight is part of the first ever ONE Championship live event in the US, which will be available live and free to North American fans with an active Prime Video subscription.

Although he is not completely clueless as to what his opponent can do, Aung La N Sang said he expects the unexpected from Fan Rong and focuses on every possible direction a fight will take while training to be ready every time night comes for a fight.

The former ONE World Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Champion shared in an interview:

“I don’t know (what Fan Rong will bring). You don’t know what my opponent is going to do. He’s probably training in the high elevations of the mountains of China. You never know what he’s doing. I can only control what I can control, which is myself, and make sure I I stand ready and do whatever it takes.”

Aung La N Sang has been impressive in his last two matches, despite a brief turnaround.

He finished off Yushin Okami of Japan via technical knockout (punches) in the first round last November, then picked up another opening-round TKO victory, also via punches, over Brazilian veteran Gilberto Galvao two months later.

‘The Burmese Python’ is excited to fight in the United States again after a decade and vows a triumphant return.

Fan Rong, for his part, last fought in December 2021 and has been a longtime fighter to fight Aung La N Sang.

ONE Fight Night 10 will take place at 1stBank Center in Colorado.
