Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said that for the past eight and a half years, the BJP-led government in the state, as per the slogan ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’, has not only launched several public welfare schemes but also ensured their scrupulous implementation.

“Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek is not just a slogan for me, it is my decision,” Khattar said.

The prime minister, who is on a three-day visit to Kurukshetra, has been interacting with residents of Jhansa and Nalvi villages in the district as part of his ‘Jan Samvad’ programme.

“Compared to the previous government (in the state), our government’s tenure will always have the upper hand in both development work and provision of state-of-the-art health facilities to citizens,” Khattar said in Jahansa.

Printing and Stationery Minister Sandeep Singh, a BJP MLA from Pehowa, was also present at the programme.

“Our government has guaranteed direct benefits to the actual beneficiaries, apart from ensuring the development of infrastructure and access to public welfare plans for the beneficiaries at their doorstep,” Khattar said, while directing the concerned officers to appoint a radiographer along with ensuring the availability of health equipment at the village’s primary health center To be purchased at Rs 8 lakh.

In Nalvhi village, Khattar has approved Rs 2 crore to carry out 16 development works in the village.

He said in Nalvi that with the implementation of the ‘Parivar Pehchan Patra’ (Family ID) scheme, 12.5 lakh new BPL cards have been manufactured in the state. “We do not believe in giving free gifts, rather we aim to make citizens self-reliant. That is why many programs have been run by the government to increase the income of ‘antyodaya’ families. Increasing the income of all these families definitely increases the financial situation of the entire family,” said the Prime Minister. .

On his way to Nalfi, Khattar stops his caravan and interacts with a group of farmers who are growing sunflowers. Tell them that the state government is buying the sunflower crop at the lowest subsidy price.

Khattar visited the Government Secondary School in the village of Tanjoor and reviewed the arrangements at the school. He also inquired about the facilities available to children and interacted with them.

In Jhansa village Chief Minister Khattar said that in 2014, there were only 750 MBBS seats in Haryana and now that number has increased to 1850. He said the government is focusing on rural development and works are being done in a transparent manner through electronic tenders.

Khattar also laid the foundation stone for the Rs 6.38 crore development of the second phase of the new grain market in Jhansa.

Khattar started the “Jan Samvad” program in Rohtak district last year, after that, the program was organized in Sirsa, Sonpat, Karnal, Fatehabad, Bhiwani and Palwal districts.
