The Los Angeles Lakers lead 1-0 in the series against the Golden State Warriors. Despite playing on the road against one of the best home teams in the league, LeBron James and his team made the most of home runs from the Dubs.
The first game was played on a Tuesday, and Los Angeles won it 117-112. Anthony Davis put in one of the best performances of the postseason, and it makes Snoop Dogg confident that his team can win it all.
The rapper is a huge fan of the team and has supported them for decades. However, he wasn’t able to watch the latest tournament since it was played in the NBA Bubble during the coronavirus lockdown.

The Los Angeles Lakers are much better than people thought, according to Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg appeared on Undisputed where he spoke about Game 1 of the series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. The 51-year-old believed it was a victory for his favorite team.
With the Game 1 win, LeBron James and his team showed the world just how good they are. Beating the San Francisco Warriors is very difficult, but not impossible.
Snoop Dogg paid tribute to his favorite team and was impressed by Anthony Davis’ performance. He believes the Lakers can win it all if the big guy keeps playing well.
When asked what he learned from the first game, the rapper said: “I knew we’re better than people think. If AD does what AD does, we can win the championship.”

Davis was very effective in Game 1 of the series, finishing it with a 30-point and 23-rebound double-double. The eight-time All-Star also had five assists and blocked four shots in the game.
Getting a healthy Davis is key to success for the Lakers. He’s been dealing with many injuries throughout his career, but he seems to be healthy now.
Along with Davis, the 51-year-old rapper praised the players’ roles. From Austin Reeves to Rui Hachimura, everyone has done a great job so far in the playoffs. He also noted the amount of support the players give each other. Whether they are on the ground or not, they cheer on their teammates.
Snoop Dogg also paid tribute to Lakers coach Darvin Hamm. He loves Hamm’s shifts and that there is always someone on the ground who can score and defend.
“Let Darvin Hamm coach,” said Snoop Dogg. “He knows rotation better than anyone.”
