Go First Airlines, which filed for bankruptcy this week, has suspended all flights through May 12. “Due to operational reasons, Go First flights scheduled through May 12, 2023 have been cancelled,” the company said in a tweet.
The airline also clarified that a full refund will be issued to all passengers in their original method of payment soon.

This comes shortly after it was announced that all flights would be canceled for a period of three days starting from May 3 onwards that was extended to May 9. Now, flights have been canceled through May 12.
On Thursday, aviation regulator DGCA said the airline had suspended ticket sales until May 15.
The FCA has also directed the airline to process refunds to passengers in accordance with the timescales specifically set out in the relevant regulations.
The Wadia Group-owned carrier filed a petition for voluntary bankruptcy settlement proceedings with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the court upheld its order on Thursday.
According to media reports, Wadia Group is likely to push for a one-off settlement with banks under which creditors will be subject to “significant discounts”.
Go First filed its Section 10 petition to initiate bankruptcy against itself. The petition differs from Sections 7 and 9 wherein the financial and operating creditors, respectively, take the debtor company to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in the event of default.
