Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly handed the club a shortlist of players to sign in the summer (according to fichajes.net). The four players are Moussa Diaby, Rhys James, Jude Bellingham and Duzan Vlahović.

Diaby currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. The righ winger has been in fine form this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in 42 matches. Sport Bild reported the interest of the Spanish giants in the player. Apart from Los Blancos, Manchester United and Arsenal are also watching Diaby.

Meanwhile, Bellingham appears ready to complete the transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. The Englishman will cost the Spanish club nearly 150 million euros.

Chelsea star Reece James has also reportedly attracted interest from Ancelotti. While the full-back has been plagued by injuries this season, there is no denying his quality.

Dusan Vlahovic is another player on Ancelotti’s list. The Serbian has had a mixed campaign with Juventus and could be forced into a summer move. On the other hand, Los Blancos are looking to add backup for Karim Benzema. Given his quality, Vlahović could be an ideal choice.

The Serbian contracts with Juventus until the end of the 2025-26 season. Its market value is estimated at 75 million euros.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti talks about preparing for the Copa del Rey final

Real Madrid will play Osasuna on May 6 in the Copa del Rey final. But Carlo Ancelotti’s team lost their last match, 1-0, against Real Sociedad.

Although it is not an ideal introduction for Los Blancos on their way to the Cup final, Ancelotti is confident the result will not hurt the team’s preparation. Speaking to the media after the defeat to the Basque club, Ancelotti said (via Los Blancos website):

“It’s not the best way to prepare for a match because defeat always hurts, it worries you and it hits the morale and positive dynamic a little bit. It’s not ideal for us in terms of preparing for what’s to come, but it’s very clear that the players’ minds are thinking ahead of Saturday’s final and the semi-final as well. It affects that. You focus on the games and when your focus isn’t there, you end up giving away goals.”

Real Madrid is far from the pace in La Liga this season and is currently in third place. However, Los Blancos can still win the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
