As Dolph Ziggler found himself on the receiving end of criticism from a “veteran wrestler,” an AEW superstar came to the WWE superstar’s defense.

The interaction came as a result of Ziggler hosting a Twitter Q&A. Of all the things he would like to be remembered, he said, would be his status within the company as a “legitimate Iron Man” who never got hurt or got sick.

This prompted a response from Twitter user, “Real Mean Marc Ash”, who was described as a veteran professional wrestler in his bio. The supposed veteran questioned the veracity of Ziegler’s claim.

Ziggler clapped back for the claim, asking Ash to show him the receipts before Dax Harwood also chimed in at the feud. The AEW superstar defended Ziggler, calling Ash a “loser wrestler” and accusing him of treating younger wrestlers like “sh*t”.

“Dude, this guy is a loser ‘wrestler’ from NC who used to treat guys like guys because he never did,” Dax Harwood tweeted.

@tweet Dude this guy is a loser “wrestler” from NC who used to treat guys like shit because he never made it. As you can tell, it never worked.

Dax previously shared a locker room with Ziggler during his WWE tenure. They have occasionally worked together as members of the RAW brand towards the end of the last decade.

The AEW star recently appeared to be looking out for Vince McMahon and his leadership in WWE

Sources confirm that Vince McMahon was planning to give Revival a new gimmick and even change his name to Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood.

Dax Harwood spoke about WWE’s tag division ahead of WrestleMania 39, where he was asked if he felt tag team wrestling could go off in a new direction with the main event at WrestleMania Saturday, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens vs. The Usos.

Harwood had his reservations, and apparently took a look at WWE CEO Vince McMahon. He said that if “one man” ever lost interest in tag team wrestling, it would be to the detriment of the tag division.

“It all depends on one guy in that company. And if he comes in on Monday saying, ‘Well, I don’t care about it anymore,’ it’s going to trickle down,” said Dax Harwood.

Dax and Kash Wheeler are the current AEW Champions. They defeated the Gunns for the titles when there were still questions as to whether or not they would stay with the company.
