Rajasthan Royals face Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 52 of IPL 2023 on Sunday, May 7, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Players playing in the match 51: Mohsin Khan (Bowl) (LSG) (8 Credits), Shubman Gill (Pat) (GT) (9.5 Credits), Mohd Shami (GT) (Ball) (9 Credits), Hardik Pandya (All) (GT) ) (11 credits), and Marcus Stoinis (ALL) (LSG) (9 credits).
Remaining credits: 1.5
I have two players from this match and I’ll be doing two normal transfers and one without cover.
Transfer deadline: 7:30 PM IST, Sunday, May 7th.
NB: The suggested team is subject to change depending on the lottery or other unexpected team news. Any such changes will be updated on the next match day.
Transfers
Transfers made: 2. | remaining transfers: 41.
1) Hardik Pandya (Whole) (GT) (11 credits) – Out | Aiden Markram (BAT) (SRH) (9 credits) – IN
2) Marcus Stoinis (ALL) (LSG) (9 credits) – OUT | Jos Buttler (WK) (RR) (11 credits) – IN
3) Mohsin Khan (BOWL) (LSG) (8 credits) – OUT | Abhishek Sharma (ALL) (SRH) (8 Credits) – IN (unspecified transfer).
Making transfers for this match is not easy due to the unpredictable nature of the stadiums in Jaipur and the form of both teams. RR and SRH had both lost their previous matches, and while they were two very different types of defeat, the way they lost was confusing, to say the least.
Joss Butler has been in bad form for a long time now, and I would expect him to play against one of his favorite teams to play against.
As for the player I’m transitioning from SRH to, I honestly don’t see anyone but Aiden Markram. If Heinrich Klaasen bats higher up the order I’d consider it, but with Tripathi and Mayank as other options to consider, Markram, who scored some runs in the last game, looks like the better pick.
Same goes for the uncapped transfer, with Abhishek Sharma being the obvious choice to bring in because I already have Yachasvi Jaiswal in the squad.
IPL Fantasy 2023 – Best Fantasy XI for Match 52 – RR vs SRH: Captain Ideas & Tips
Players playing in the match 52: Yashasvi Jaiswal (BAT) (RR) (8.5 Credits), Trent Boult (BOWL) (RR) (9 Credits), Aiden Markram (BAT) (SRH) (9 Credits), Abhishek Sharma (ALL) (SRH) (8 credits), and Joss Butler (WK) (RR) (11 credits).
Plenty of captain’s choices to consider again, but with the big boarder in Jaipur, the nature of the wicket will play a prominent role in the captain’s final decision.
The law of averages suggests Butler owes a big one here, and I’m someone who believes in this theory to some extent, so it’s my first choice so far.
