CHANDIGARH Police has booked the Director and General Manager (MD) of the Kerala-based company for allegedly swindling a local resident out of Rs 92 lakh.
A case has been filed under section 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (fraud), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The case was registered on the complaint of Nilanchal Agarwal of Sector 33, who alleged that George John, Diana John, Director and Managing Director of LA Posh Life Style Pvt Ltd. , Ernakulam Central, Kerala and other officials of TLC India deceived him and caused a huge loss amounting to Rs 92 lakh for investing in the complainant’s equity business.
