Disney On Monday it expanded its federal lawsuit against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, accusing the Republican leader of doubling down on his “campaign of retaliation” against the company by signing legislation to void Disney’s Orlando development deals.
Disney’s amended lawsuit also noted that the Republican-led Florida legislature passed legislation last week targeting Walt Disney World’s monorail system.

“Governor DeSantis and his allies have no clear intention of winding down their campaign of retaliation anytime soon,” Disney wrote in its addenda to a civil lawsuit it filed in US District Court in Tallahassee last month.
Disney alleges that DeSantis waged a war of retaliation against the company after it publicly criticized a controversial Florida bill, dubbed by critics “Don’t Say Like Me,” that limits discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in classrooms.
DeSantis’ office did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment on the amended complaint.
