The Los Angeles Lakers have a chance to win it all this season with an impressive playoff run after reshuffling their roster at the trade deadline. Surprisingly, the Lakers seem willing to give championship rings to those who have worn the purple and gold jersey this season, even if they are traded for the 2022-23 season.

TNT’s Chris Haynes previously confirmed that the organization’s players who have been traded or waived throughout the season will get their hands on the championship ring if they win it all. That was part of Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka’s protocol, Hines explained.

“Now, if the Lakers can go all out, win the championship, a high-level source within the organization has told me that they will extend the championship ring to all players on the roster at any time during this season.” Heinz said.

“They[the Lakers]have extended the championship ring to all players who were on the roster at any point during this season.” Ross and Pat Bev will get a ring if the Lakers win the championship, per @chrisbhaynes

“If the Lakers win the whole thing, then Russell Westbrook, Patrick Beverley and others will get a championship ring. I’m told that was protocol in the system that Rob Pelinka put in when he took over. It’s just a way of making sure the players understand that they value them, even though they don’t It’s from the beginning of the season to the end of the season with the Lakers.”

Earlier, both Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverly were in the news for the possibility of getting their own championship ring. This was after Pat Bev talked about possibly getting an episode on his podcast. According to Beverley, it was Westbrook who brought it up while they were practicing together.

“Ross goes, hey Pat if the Lakers win I want my ring,” Beverly said on his podcast. “I’m not going to lie, Ross. We’ll get dressed and I’ll be right there waiting to be shaved.” Beverly said.
