Police said that Myint died in a nearby hospital and a case was registered under section 304 of the IPC against Siddharth, who also hailed from Assam.
A 36-year-old visiting worker from Assam died after a fellow worker used a compressor to blow air inside his anus, police said on Tuesday.
The accident occurred near Perumbavoor in Kochi on Monday. Both of them were working in a private enterprise.
Police said Myint died in a nearby hospital and a case has been registered under Section 304 of the IPC against Siddharth, who also hailed from Assam.
Article 304 provides for a penalty for murder that does not amount to murder.
Sidharth claimed that they used to blow compressed cold air on each other because of the hot weather. But this time he tried to blow it into Minto’s anus and he lost consciousness. Police said he was taken to hospital but can be saved.”
The police detained Siddharth for further questioning.
