US officials said Monday that the United States will provide an additional $1.2 billion in long-term military aid to Ukraine to bolster its air defenses as Russia continues to bomb Ukraine with drones, missiles and surface-to-air missiles.
The aid package is expected to be announced on Tuesday and the money will be provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative.
