Brandon Nemo got off to a very nice start while the New York Mets didn’t. It hits the 147 wRC+ clip and has 1.8 fWAR already. Defensively, he was a little below average, but most teams will take offensive production and live with defense.
The Mets signed him to a long term contract, so a trade is unlikely. However, if they continue to falter, he’s a prime candidate. Here are some teams that can use it.

The New York Yankees have had a tough road to start 2023, but the season isn’t over yet and they’re still above . 500 and playing better. They should get some consistent production from left field, though. Nemo will let them line up the best pitch in baseball with Aaron Judge, Harrison Bader and Nemo. The Mets will likely never trade the Yankees.
At the moment, Jarin Duran was a great player to replace Adam Duvall. When Duvall returns, he’ll take over, but his wrist injury may have sapped some of his fielding abilities, making him better suited to the corner. Either way, Nimmo is an upgrade there, so it makes sense for the Boston Red Sox if they can keep winning.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are off to a surprisingly good start and could run into the playoffs. If they wanted to maximize their court, they would find a way to keep Brian Reynolds in a corner. Adding Nimmo will make this happen.
