The total number of Covid cases has been recorded at Rs 4.49 crore (4,49,84,058) and active cases now constitute 0.02% of total infections while the national recovery rate has been recorded at 98.79%.
India saw a one-day rise of 906 new COVID-19 cases as active cases fell to 10,179, according to data from the Federal Ministry of Health updated on Thursday.
The death toll has risen to 5,31,814 (5.31 lakh) with 20 deaths, including seven reconciled by Kerala, data updated at 8 am said.

According to the ministry’s website, 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
