L’Oréal India is inviting applications for young women in the field of science with a scholarship of Rs 2.5 lakh. Check your eligibility and how to apply here.
Young girls above grade 12 have been invited by L’Oréal India to apply for the Young Women in Science Scholarship Program 2022.
Things to know about the scholarship:
- The scholarship will be a springboard for girls to pursue their graduate studies in science.
- The scholarship will provide financial assistance to girls to cover their graduation fees in any scientific field (pure science/applied science/engineering/medicine, etc.) in a recognized college or university in India.
- The scholarship amount will be 2,50,000 rupees.
- Girls applying for the scholarship must have achieved at least 85 percent of marks in PCM, PCB or PCMB in the current academic year (2021-22).
- They must have gained admission to an undergraduate course in the field of science in the academic year 2022-23.
- The applicant’s annual family income must be less than Rs 6,00,000.
- Students with a one-year gap after Class 12 will not be considered.
- There will be a telephone interview round followed by an interview, either virtually or at selected locations such as Mumbai, New Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
- The interview will be conducted in front of the jury.
- The age limit for candidates applying for the scholarship must not exceed 19 years as of May 31, 2022.

- Candidates must have the following documents: Certified Copy of Proof of Age (Aadhaar Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, Voter ID Card, etc.), Certified Copy of Parents’ Income Proof, Attested Class 10 Mark Paper and Certified Class 12 Mark Paper.
