Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is said to have drawn up a four-player transfer list as he looks to bolster his squad this summer.

The Dutchman gained the trust of the board of directors and the fans after finishing third in the English Premier League and the Carabao Cup. The Red Devils will be looking to bolster their ranks this summer after taking on some of their biggest rivals and performing well in the big games. However, to be consistent, they will need better employees.

According to The Independent, Ten Hag has asked the Manchester United board to sign a striker, midfielder, winger and goalkeeper before next season.

Marcus Rashford has enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring 30 goals and providing 11 assists in 56 appearances. However, his workload was enormous, so the Red Devils could have done with a more superior striker. Signing a proven goalscorer could help bridge the gap with rivals Manchester City.

The report adds that Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremy Frimpong is still on Manchester United’s radar. The Dutch player can play as a right-back, wing-back, as well as in midfield. While he’s been on their radar for a while, signing a player in his position is lower down the club’s priority list.

Elsewhere, Ten Hag and United appear to have given up on trying to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, with the player showing no urgency in securing a transfer.

Other strikers being studied by the Red Devils are Randall Kolo Mwani (Eintrach Frankfurt), Victor Osimhen (Napoli), Goncalo Ramos (Benfica) and Rasmus Höglund (Atalanta). Anthony Martial is expected to be sold, while Wout Weghorst will leave after his loan deal expires.

Manchester United have Kim Min Jae on their list since October and he remains a prime target. the exemption clause, only effective in July as United are in contact with agents; Newcastle has also been informed. 🔴 #MUFCMan Utd is also monitoring the French market for Plan B options.

In defence, Manchester United have their eye on Napoli’s Kim Min-jae, while their pursuit of midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea has hit a stumbling block, with the Blues demanding £70m for his services.

It remains to be seen which players Ten Hag pursues and how the club proceeds in the transfer window.

Manchester United is subject to “take it or leave it” bidding from Sheikh Jassim

Aside from new manager Erik ten Hag’s first season at the club, a potential change of ownership was the talk of the town. Manchester United was put up for sale by the Glazer family, several unions expressed interest, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim were the two best candidates.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Sheikh Jassim has made a ‘take it or leave it’ bid to buy the club, his fifth and final bid. It will cover all of the Glazers’ debts in the initial £4 billion, while a further £1 billion will be invested in infrastructure and player recruitment.

More clarity on the same can be expected in the coming days as Glazers has yet to respond to the latest bids.
