Hizb terrorist Mudasir Ahmed’s house was searched in Tandar village in Dakhan in connection with a case registered last year under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosive Substances Act.

A senior official said that the Jammu and Kashmir Police Special Operations Group on Saturday searched the home of a terrorist belonging to the banned terrorist group Hizb-ul-Mujahideen in Kishtwar district.

Chief Inspector of Police Kishtwar Khalil Ahmed Bosewal said a search warrant was obtained from the Jammu National Intelligence Court.

The house of the Hizb terrorist Mudasir Ahmed in Tandar village of Dakhan was searched in connection with a case registered last year under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosive Substances Act.

The Social Security Agency said that the evidence obtained during the search will be examined to subject the accused to a judicial decision for his involvement in anti-national activities and the perpetuation of terrorism.

The officer said that all the accomplices of the terrorists found to be involved during the investigation will be prosecuted.

Bosewal also asked people to share information about the presence of anti-national elements with the police, assuring that the informant would be appropriately rewarded and his identity would be kept secret.
