Manoj Sani (56) was arrested for allegedly killing his “live partner” Saraswati Vidya, by cutting up and boiling parts of her body.

In another shocking revelation in the Mira Road Murder case, the accused’s search history revealed that he searched for information about the decomposition of a corpse.

According to the mid-day report, the 56-year-old accused, who allegedly killed his live-in partner in Mumbai, googled “after cutting up a corpse, how many hours will it take for it to decompose and start smelling?” on his phone.

“We checked his online history via mobile phone and learned that the accused tried to find out how long it would take for the body to decompose after it was cut into pieces,” a police official told MedDay.

While the accused, Manoj Sani, denies any wrongdoing and maintains that he did not kill the victim, the autopsy of the woman is still ongoing. Midday reports that JG Hospital, which is conducting the autopsy, told police that 10 percent of the body parts were still missing.

Manoj Sani (56) was arrested for allegedly killing his “live partner” Saraswati Vidya, dismembering and boiling her body parts. The woman’s body parts were found pressure-cooked and roasted inside the apartment where they were staying in the Meera Road area of the bustling district adjoining Mumbai.

The investigation later revealed that the couple were actually married to her, but the couple concealed this fact.

The Mumbai policeman who entered the victim’s home after finding the body vomited

Unprepared for the horror that awaited them, some policemen, who entered the crime scene, reportedly vomited after seeing human body parts strewn all over the place, boiled and roasted meat in kitchen utensils.

The victim, Saraswati, who dropped out of school, lived in a shelter even though she had three sisters. When I met Sani, I decided to live with him. She told the people at home that he was her uncle.

The official added that the woman’s remains will be handed over to her sisters of last rites as they wish once the DNA test and other formalities are over.

The FIR against Sani was registered under Indian Penal Code Section 302 (Murder) and 201 (Destruction of Evidence) at Naya Nagar Police Station.
