IITs Open Opportunities for Students with Certificate Courses on AI & IoT

IIndia’s leading institutes of technology IIT-Gandhinagar, IIT-Kharagpur and IIT-Madras have announced online learning opportunities for students in the fields of entrepreneurship, technology and artificial intelligence respectively.

‘Camp Inspire’ by IIT Gandhinagar will bring together personalities from different walks of life who have risen to great heights in their professions. The online course offered by IIT Kharagpur helps students to understand the technologies based on this system and its use in various fields spanning across agriculture, healthcare, construction, etc. Problem solving methods. Students will be introduced to how AI solutions can be used in various industries. There are also two follow up courses they can take if they are keen to learn more.

Things to know about IIT Gandhinagar’s ‘Camp Inspire’:

• Camp Inspire is open to students in grades 8 through 12.
• Interested parents and teachers are also welcome
• The program will last three days, from June 3, 2022 to June 5, 2022.
• The camp will be held online from 11am to 6.15pm.
• Interested students must register before June 2, 2022 here.
• Students who wish to obtain a certificate at the end of the camp will be required to pay a fee of Rs 500 during registration.
• Among the speakers at the camp is Priyanka Srivastava, a space systems engineer at NASA. Chandrima Shaha, President, Indian National Academy of Sciences, New Delhi; Arun Krishnamurthy, Founder, Environmental Protection Foundation of India.

Things to know about IIT Kharagpur course:

• The course is specially designed for students and professionals with programming knowledge.
• The course will be held for 12 weeks from 25 July 2022 to 14 October 2022.
• Interested candidates must register before August 1, 2022.
• The course is free of charge, however, those desiring certificates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 and sit an examination on 29th October 2022 at a center designated for you.
• The course will be led by Dr. Sudip Misra, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur.
• Topics covered include introduction to the Internet of Things, cloud computing, Python programming, etc.

Things to know about IIT Madras course:

• Students of undergraduate and graduate computer science programs are eligible to take the course.
• The course is also open to those who have knowledge of different algorithms.
• The course will be held for 13 weeks from 25 July 2022 to 14 October 2022.
• The deadline for registration is August 1, 2022.
• The course is free of charge, however, those who want certificates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 and take an exam on 29th October 2022 at the designated examination centre.
• The course will be led by Prof. Deepak Khimani of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Madras.
• Topics covered include game theory, automated planning, production systems, backtracking by algorithm, etc.
