while his movie 2018: Everybody’s a Champion He still has Successful run in theatresAfter earning more than ₹200 crore at the box office, Malayalam actor Tofinu Thomas has updated his fans about his upcoming movie Nadikar Thilakam.
Tofino recently revealed a poster of Nadikar Thilakam featuring him in an attractive, never-before-seen avatar. “A star is born to shine,” Tofino wrote, by sharing the poster on social media. The film is directed by Lal Jr., who is known for films like Driver’s License and Honey Bee.
According to reports, Tofino plays David Padikal, a mainstream movie star, in the movie. The film is expected to revolve around Padikal’s career, which has faced obstacles due to various factors, and his endeavors to free himself from these challenges.
According to Mathrubhumi, the film will begin production soon and is scheduled to span a period of 120 days, with shooting in multiple locations. Estimated at a staggering 40 crore, this high budget project will feature a talented cast that includes Veena Nandakumar, Soobin Shahir, Dhyan Srinivasan, Anoop Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Srinath Basi, Lal and Madhupal.
The film is being co-financed by Y Naveen and Y Ravi Shankar’s Mythri Movie Makers, in association with Allan Antony and Anoop Venugopal’s GodSpeed.
While Suvin Somasekharan has penned the script for this film, Alby Antony will handle the cinematography and Ratheesh Raj has been appointed as the editor. Yakzan Gary Pereira is composing the songs for this movie in which Prasanth Madhav heads the art department.
Last year, Soubin shared a promotional video for Nadikar Thilacam on social media which shows him preparing for the role. Nadikar Thilakam will hit theaters in 2024.
Tovino is concurrently working on two highly anticipated films, Agyanti Randam Moshanam and Anfishipin Kandithum.
