In the viral video, a man (supposedly a shopkeeper) can be seen harassing a vlogger while he is shooting a video in a crowded Bengaluru market.
A Dutch YouTuber was allegedly harassed near Chickpet market area in Bengaluru by a local merchant while he was vlogging with his audience. The video of the horrific incident spread on social media platforms.
Activist Brenda Adeje condemned the incident and called on the police to take action against the accused.
This is totally unacceptable. “The police must take action against those involved,” Edje said on Twitter.
Sharing the video on YouTube, a Dutch national named Medeiromota described his experience and wrote: “A foreigner traveling in India experiences the thieves market in Bangalore, also known as the Sunday market or choir bazaar. But exploring the area started on the wrong foot when an angry man attacked me by grabbing With my hands and arms he twisted it, and lunged after me as I tried to escape.”
Youtuber who goes by the name Madley Rover added, “After eating some street food, I met up with cool local Indian personalities and bargained to buy a new button-up shirt.”

The YouTuber can then be heard asking the man to let go of his hand.
The incident is said to have happened a few days ago, however, it came to light after the blogger posted the video on YouTube today.
An official complaint has been registered in the matter so far.
